A success story

When a Racing Team actually bears the name of a trusted and long-time member of the Richard Mille Family, how could the brand not be involved ! Jackie Chan, one of the world’s most famous actors and film directors, has been a friend of the RM brand for more than 10 years.

Jackie Chan DC Racing, formerly known as DC Racing, currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship and Asian Le Mans Series. The team is co-owned by what by anyone’s standards constitutes a dream-team, the Asian Le Mans champion David Cheng and actor Jackie Chan.

It was in 2015 that two-time Asian Le Mans Series champion David formed DC Racing. Soon after, he got together with actor and martial artist enthusiast Jackie and discovered their shared passion for fast cars. They entered DC Racing into the FIA World Endurance Championship. In October, the team was rebranded as Jackie Chan DC Racing.

Anyone familiar with the Kung Fu Yoga movies will have no trouble recognizing the inspiration for the liveries.
In 2017, the #38 Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca led the 24-hours of le Mans with just 70 minutes to go, when the recovering works Porsche 919 Hybrid finally overhauled it for outright honours. Chan's car still claimed class honours, and second place outright while the team’s sister car finished fourth overall, third in class.

In 2018 success was assured when the team won the 6 hours of Silverstone in LMP2. Technique, competitivity and team work involving skills and ideas from different worlds – the hallmark of true success, a must for Richard Mille.
