The 2nd fastest man in the world.
The partnership between Richard Mille and the Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake could hardly have started under better circumstances.
It was shortly before the London Olympics in the summer of 2012 that Yohan Blake wore the Richard Mille watch that had been specially designed for him for the first time.
It was with a Richard Mille tourbillon prototype on his wrist that the sprinter won the Diamond League in Lausanne just a few day later and became the second fastest athlete of all time over this distance.
Blake, who was 100-metre world champion in 2011, missed out by a fraction of a second to his compatriot, the untouchable Usain Bolt, but equalled his personal record of 9.75 seconds. Confirming that they are the masters of their
speciality, the two Jamaicans dominated the 200 metres in the same way.
